About Kelly Powell-Giniewicz

 Kelly was born in Huntsville, Texas and moved to Temple in 1992 with her son, Chad who was then, 6 years old.  Although not a native "Bell Countian" she quickly grew to love Bell County and quickly realized that this is where she wanted to put down roots and raise her son.

Kelly is married to Steve Giniewicz, a Central Texas native that she met while attending a Chamber of Commerce event.  Many of his siblings own and operate their own businesses in the area.  Steve and Kelly attend a local church in the community.  Together they have spent countless weekends attending sporting events and activities as proud parents.  Now their 3 children have provided them with 7 awesome grandchildren; so now they are watching their basketball, soccer, baseball, and football games, ballet recitals and gymnastic performances or everyone is out throwing the rod and reel and fishing for that "whopper" of a fish and competing to see will catch the biggest.

Kelly has held many leadership roles in banking and financial industries including First National Bank, Bank One and McLane Company.

Kelly looked at a career in Real Estate sales when a friend suggested this opportunity.  She felt like becoming a Realtor would help continue her career goals of serving people with her interest in beautiful homes and interior design!  After her first year as a Realtor she was rewarded with the "Rookie of the Year Award."  Her first nine years as a Realtor were spent at a nationally recognized franchised company.  In May 2006, she established and operated her own full service real estate office, Bell County Real Estate.  In February 2012, Kelly joined the Rodney Dunn Company where she continued to meet the individual needs of each of her clients providing excellent care and service.  In early 2025, The Rodney Dunn Company made a decision to "retire" the company after ___ years of service to Bell County and surrounding counties.

Kelly's career combines most of her favorite things: helping people, showing beautiful homes, and assisting clients with  suggestions for decorating and/or preparing their home to sell or just "picture" a home to buy as their own or use for property management or even an AirBnB.

Currently, Kelly is licensed with Mersal Realty out of Plano, TX.  This full service Brokerage allows her to provide all types of real estate needs.  Kelly continues to enjoy her career in Real Estate!
